AMD's Radeon RX 7900 GRE is now available in Europe as a standalone product

Why did AMD even keep it to China only? There's an enormous gap between the 7800XT (which wasn't even out when the GRE came out) and the 7900XT. Maybe they wanted to sell as many 6800XT and 6950XT GPUs as possible, but other than that it made no sense to me. Was there any other reason why it was China-only?

Supply and Demand I guess?

If you expand too much, maybe you generate logistical nightmares. Angry consumers tired of backorders will buy elsewhere. Wait till China is satiated, and then perhaps move outwards.

Its easier to keep a consumer enticed if you make them wait for a release, rather than release and make them wait for their actual order for weeks and weeks. Chances are they will cancel their order and switch to Nvidia.

Gotta say though... that cooler is one of the nicest looking ive seen in a while.
