AMD's Press Conference will be the keynote to watch at CES 2020 - Here's Why

Past 3 years has been exciting years for AMD. Each year is better and better. This year I suspect though will be massive and that's also a large part due to next gen consoles releasing.

I'm not expecting much myself, I doubt we will see big navi and it's the only thing I want to hear about from amd.

They will officially confirm stuff. AMD has been open about the road map and they probably leak some of the info by themselves to stay in the news. They have been releasing products on schedule. Not always finished product but nevertheless released on time.

I've turned into a certified AMD fanboy it seems, mainly out of hatred for Intel and their behaviour, but I'm glad I did. I've seen (and purchased) every generation of Ryzen (and one Threadripper), and they have made amazing leaps between generations. I only wish they could get back into the game on the GPU front.

Can't believe I've waited this long to go AMD.

Glad though, it's saved me a whole load of cash lol.

The Navi GPUs are extremely good for the money. Just not a competitive option to Nvidias more expensive options.

You will love tweaking that new TR. I went previous gen, but the leaps they've made make the new gen an absolute MONSTER. I'm stuck at 3200mhz memory speed, but you'll be stable at 3600+, especially if you have decent RAM.

Hopefully AMD can pull a Ryzen in the GPU market. Just look at how much the more value for money we have now that there is competition. Having this in the graphics market would create a new golden age for PC gaming.

Navi are great cards, just at the wrong price point to compete, I am expecting 5600 and 5800 to be announced but they really do need to do something special and sort out pricing so we can have what happened in the CPU space.

If they can do 5800 with ray tracing for 500 I'll for sure pick one up, looking at my current options the original 2070 seems to be the best value for money really, there really isn't that much between them all but a big difference in price between the 2070 and S version but I'd like to get a decent custom card maybe by end of february.

Sure we will hear something from all sides but I'm leaning towards summer time being when the next set launches and I maybe should hold off until then.

I moved from Intel Core i7 4th gen to Ryzen 3600 and I'm happy I made that change last year. I have no reason to go back to Intel products in next 5 years. I'm looking forward to Zen 3 and will upgrade my CPU in 2-3 years to Zen 3.
