Ryzen APUs are Raven Ridge and supposedly launching late this year or next year. Bristol Ridge has been available to OEMs since last year. I would go with what WYP said about filling the gap below Ryzen 3 because all they have for that is all the APUs on FM2 and AM1 which need phasing out.

I don't remember reading about Ryzen + GPU. It was always the story with older architecture being reused on AM4 socket for APUs.

There is one based on Zen coming called Raven Ridge. Will even be called Ryzen as well. There's been leaks of a Ryzen APU using a Vega based GPU.

I'm genuinely excited for Raven Ridge because Zen + Vega would make fantastic 4K HTPCs

One core module and two threads. Excavator is an architecture from the Bulldozer line, which is made up of dual-core modules.

1M / 2T = 1 Module with two cores and two threads.

I hope this clarifies things a little.
