I really hope so because in my opinion this is one of the main reasons I deem AMD CPUs to be the better value product. Intel seems to release a new socket every gen whereas so far AMD have at least allowed a couple of gens to run on the same socket.

Meant AM5 in response to the previous posts. I don't see any reason why it would be a new socket. They already confirmed AM5 beyond 2025. Current owners of Ryzen 7000, should be good.
