AMD will soon be releasing more AGESA updates for Ryzen, which will reduce memory latency by 6ns, fix the FMA3 workload bug and fix the "overclock sleep bug".

6ns for memory? Will it really help all that much?

Well from what I had seen during our testing, in AIDA 64 the Ryzen memory latency was around 90ns when using 2666MHz memory, but about 65ns when at 3200MHz.

Latency may not be the whole picture, but every little helps and it could be part of the reason why Ryzen loves fast memory.

This is something that will not have much of an impact in things like Cinebench, but could help in certain use cases.

They did a pretty good job so far with the 1002 they released today. I'm excited to see what else they do.

Maybe those 6ns are gonna help with better RAM speeds across the board and stability.
