Basically: new motherboards which will allow 2 dual-core CPUs. Its being aimed at high-end gaming, so I`m HOPING that means no ECC memory.
Details still to be confirmed, but it has potential. Oooooh yes!
Maybe this will set itself up nicely for AMD and the quad-core on a single CPU? Octo-way system anyone?
Thing is.... its a new mobo, CPU and RAM no matter which way we turn...benches will determine how good the upgrade path is in general
