I still haven't seen any proper review of FreeSync so I'm not that exited. Although it will probably work fantastic for constant framerate applications (movies etc), I am still very doubtful about FreeSync with rapidly changing framerates (games).

Why? Just because it doesn't have Nvidia G-Sync labeled on it? If anything its easier to support.. its literally part of every spec.. DP/Monitor/GPU on a hardware level because it is an industry standard. Not saying its better but it would be much easier/cheaper to improve it for multiple companies/products than everyone having to create new G-Sync monitors too support the newer standard. Plus with G-Sync you have the software side of it too, which can create its own mishaps with bugs. With FreeSync you click a button to tell the GPU you have the hardware to use it. It then does its thing.

That is why it's "cheaper". Not because its worse but because it does the same thing in a more efficient way. Ya wait till reviews are out but honestly saying now there is no hope for it isn't really logical.

Hopefully it's amazing and does great. Competition is key to competitive pricing.

But damn.. that 1440p 144hz BenQ monitor.. that is damn impressive:)

Does anybody know the difference between the Samsung UE590 and UE850?

Maybe one is TN and the other IPS?
