i am really curious to see what will happen to the PC market in the next 6-12 month.


while i like what AMD has done with zen4 and intel seems to have good products too... most people i know are satisfied with their systems and don´t want to upgrade.


most tell me they plan to buy a RTX 3080 or 4070 in the next 6 month.
but i don´t hear many of my friends/colleague say they plan to buy into AM5 or a new intel mainboard.




i sure will not update my AM4 systems with the first wave of AM5 mainboards.
maybe around may, june of 2023 when they have revisions out.

Well my 4770K is getting outdated, so here I am, one of the people who definitely will upgrade sooner or later into either AM5 or Intel's newest equivalent at the time.


My 1070 will be upgraded to a 3070 or a 4070 should the performance and price be right.

There are a lot of people still on older platforms or hardware. I still have a 1600X. I didn't see the point in upgrading to Zen 3 because I couldn't buy a GPU.
