AMD Ryzen 1700X benchmarks emerge

Please be real. The CPU market needs this kind of performance at the leaked price-points. It's stagnated for far too long.

Maybe just maybe Ryzen may just live up to the hype after all.

But i'm still going to wait until third parties get these CPU's and then make up MY mind, I just don't buy into in "House Benchmarks".

Could it be? There's something else that most would agree with you about?

In all seriousness anybody who doesn't wait for third party verified performance reviews deserve to get burned. I'm supper-excited for RyZen. I havea soft spot for AMD as my first computer build was AMD and I'm ready to upgrade. My largest desire right now is to build a RyZen PC but even so I'll be waiting for reviews from respected journalists before parting with my cash.

In all seriousness dude, Doesn't mean i'm changing CPU & Motherboard.

Everyone is allow to change their opinion/thoughts (about any products) including ME all i'm saying is that maybe there going to live up to everyone's hopes.

YES maybe Intel does need a kick up the ass after all.

Yes, people who don't wait for third parties for reviews, Those people have rocks in their heads, It doesn't matter what PC parts it is people should always wait and watch third parties cause third parties shouldn't be biased and most of them aren't well the ones who i watch anyway.

Yeah I am a little wary of how they overclock. However, everything seems to add up. AMD said Broadwell E, Broadwell E we seem to have.

Even if they don't overclock at the prices slated they are going to be amazing any way.

Well on the overclocking im probably to hyped up, but even pap amd cpus can overclock till the cows come home, and them touting xfr makes me think these things and the way they are binned and the pricing jumps that maybe, just maybe these things will have that amd dna within them too.

Broadwell-E is a pretty mediocre overclocker itself. 4.3Ghz is kind of the sweet spot. Compare that to Haswell-E's 4.4Ghz sweet spot with 4.5Ghz being very possible on quite a few chips. And like you said, your 5820K reached 4.6Ghz.

This is going to be great for both AMD and Intel users alike as now we have a much closer parity of performance it has to push Intel prices down or they risk losing a lot of market share.

Later 5820k were far better tbh. I see most do 4.5 now.

Take my money already so i can put my fx into a picture frame tobe honored for survivng 5 years

Haha, I know how you feel. To be fair, my FX-8150 holds up surprisingly well with a nice overclock on it. Think I'll be keeping mine and putting it in something a bit smaller by the TV :D
