AMD RX 480 Crossfire benchmark results leak online

Crossfire results for AMD's RX 480 have leaked online, showing 81% more performance than just a single GPU and GTX 1080 levels of performance.

Better than expected, but i fear those CF issues and considering it's 'leaked' this could be exaggerated results. Still a performance increase over the 1070 which is hard to ignore.

Well the performance is probably gonna be on par with 1070, perhaps slightly more. And we're back at the obvious question: Would you rather have one or two graphics cards giving the same performance, costing about the same? Easy to answer...

2 x 480 would only give the same performance with bad scaling. And in dx12 I'm thinking the performance difference will be massive. the question is would you rather a total of over 10 teraflops ( 2 x 480 is close to 12 teraflops, probably more with OC) of potential performance or settle for just 6+ teraflops at a similar or higher price.

terra flops really only matter when you are mining and so on. Which to me means these bit coin miners are going to buy as many of these things as they can.

I still really thing in gaming terms 1 480 will be just a bit better than a 970. and untill i see actuall real end product bench tests that is what i will believe.

i dunno...
1/2 the leaks show clock speeds we know arent as high as the card actually has "because of leak".
So i take them all with a pinch of salt.
