AMD releases a community update on memory overclocking

I got some really good results from changing the BGS to enable on my single single rank dimms. It netted me about 100 more points in Cinibench, and seeing about 4-6 fps increase in fps high. It's the equivalent of going from 4ghz to 4.1 just by changing this setting.

I will be doing further investigations into these options over a wider range of applications. Hopefully, there will be some interesting results. Will it be a work/gaming divide that AMD show?

We have already been working on some Ryzen performance tweaks, with an article that was almost ready to post before AMD released this community update. Will likely be the first of many Ryzen memory tweaking articles.

Awesome

There is a new beta bios that is supposed to released very soon that has several fixes for the official 1403. I am still running the 9943 beta, and it has worked very well for me.

Every month Ryzen just keeps getting better, just like their GPU's.

Doesn't work for me

MSI X370 Gaming pro and this memory: CMD16GX4M2B3000C15 Version 5.39. Latest BIOs and this memory won't go above 2133MHZ no matter what settings were tried.
