Tend to agree there for sure. Saturating the market with CPU's that are too similar!

For those that might be interested, I went out and bought an AMD Athlon II X3 435 CPU today. I can confirm by the batch code that it's infact a crippled Deneb core, though I'm sure that there are just as many crippled Propus (no L3 cache on the chip) cores too. My particular sample does not unlock but the price however is very good at just £42 from Yoyotech.

It's really the only thing that backs up all the cpus they release. I don't feel it's a case of "we'll run a bunch of 245s today" - more like they'll whip up a batch and grade them from acceptance from the center outwards.

In that respect, fair play to them.
