Given the 9070xt strong performance and the combined blunders of a paper launch and lacklustre 5000 series performance, I'd expect AMD to gradually gain some market share this generation. If Nvidia can't get stock on shelves in the next 2 months, then it's going to be even worse for team green.

I'm getting the impression that Nvidia doesn't care much. They will continue to allocate wafer capacity to where the money is. I'd say Jensen will want to retort somewhere somehow, but I don't think this is actually bad for Nvidia. They still make better GPUs and make way more money AMD and Intel combined.

The numbers make sense considering that the Nvidia cards are either Halo models (5090 and 5080) prone to self combustion or 5070s that are both overpriced and lacking stock.

I’m harsher on nvidia than most but im a realist as well but I totally disagree on nvidias 5000 series I actually see the 4000 series as a far better card cause in many situations it outperforms it.

They are also disgusting value.

Like it or not amd are very much back they are not the cards of the last three generations and since 6k series viable but these 9000 series cards are kicking butt they are extremely good they outperform the xtx in dxr and fsr4 is near perfect amd need that in everything asap they will take market share this generation.

So nvidia can go make there h cards for the ai market cause honestly i dont care about nvidia cards not one bit.

Oh that share price well much at play but if it drops lower friday then omg do you want too avoid the Monday opening.

This 9070xt is a very good card they sold many like i wish amd would put out exact numbers cause yeah they had huge sales some stores ques around the block not seen in ages on amd cards so yes they sold alright

Seeing decent amounts of 9070xt stock come in and sell out within 30 mins, compared to zero stock of the 5000 series, AMD is onto a winning generation as Nvidia seems to not even be trying over a month after launch.
