If these are indeed true that's quite a good uptick considering they plan on staying in the mid-range pricing.

Would be nice to see a 9700 xtx. Maybe a 72/84 range CU core. Doubtful though.

The idiots at AMD supposedly aren't releasing these until March, way to give Ngreedia yet another massive win, they should just shut their whole GPU department down as they're not serious about its viability, and NO ones going to wait till March to buy an AMD GPU that costs as much as an Ngreedia GPU months later!

Indeed and no one on a 7900XT/XTX is going to buy so even less chance of sales.

A lot of retailers already have 9070/9070XT stock, Waiting an extra few months is so stupid as anyone needing a GPU in that time around that price bracket will likely go for Nvidia's 5070/5070Ti.

If I was a conspiracy theorist I'd say they are sabotaging themselves.

Yeah, if they don't release these before Nvidia, they may as well not release them at all. Nvidia will have an entire month to sell, and when AMD releases their GPU for €50 less because they are stupid, Nvidia will simply cut the price of the 5070. I am stunned by AMDs incompetence.

I read the reason there was a delay in launch was because of difficult pricing negotiations between AMD and their dealers and partners. AMD are being forced to hold back the release to make sure everyone is benefiting as much as possible. Don't know how true that is, but it makes sense. AMD sold to dealers and partners a 9070XT that they could sell at, say, $650. But now with Blackwell being more competitive than AMD had anticipated, they will have to renegotiate deals so that the card is $500-550.
