AMD plans Ryzen 5 9600X3D CPU with 3D V-Cache

Yields get better over time. There will always be wastage. The previous lower-end X3D parts were restricted release because the usable silicon wasn't there for more than that. I'd expect overtime they'd get more yield that would be not quite there for Ryzen 7, and now they know there is a market. Then there is Radeon's switched focus to mainstream; it would make sense to have gaming CPUs that better matched that aim. Fingers crossed!
