The CPU overhead of running a 3rd card in Crossfire using software might be a bit heavy but for Vista gyus...check this:

I dont know how Vista WEI scales, but apparently thats better than a 3.6GHz C2D. Does graphics performance count towards the rating? maybe 3-way Crossfire helps? I dont know.
Either way...things are looking a bit more promising for AMD than some people have been yelling.
