my guess around april 2013, it may look simple from customers point of view but right now they are top notch and they cant really put more into these cards, 7xxx series only came out because of new manufacturing process i.e. 32nm whihc enabled higher performance chips to be made on small pcbs etc.etc.

so expect new series when a completely new technology comes out, who knows maybe quad chips cards, like the 9800gx2 have two boards of twin chips connected together, that'd be awesome but the 4 8 pins might not be enough and we would need new cooling technology, it all comes down to the development in Micro processing technologies, but if a 7970 isnt enough for you go ahead with a quadro, cant have better gpus then those cards

pred, tenerife is coming this year mate, and the sooner the better for amd as nv are waiting with the real kepler chips.

just brought a 7950 (had a few issues with it as they sent the first to the wrong adress, and the second got lost in the post, and i have requested the best card they have in stock, likely a gtx 680 or a 7970, to be sent to me rather than another 7950 lol)

but enough of my gpu issues, seriusly, people are already building hype about next series cards? :L

not wanting to kick where it hurts but these new cards are hardly the leap in performance i was expecting this round tbh dude.

they did a double drop it fab tech which should of more than doubled their performance yet they are only a few % more than the cards they replaced.

nvidia are pushing mid ranged cards as high end price tags and amd only just beat nvs old cards which let nv get away with it. mid range is a laugh,

not building hype dude, just pointing it out how i see it you know.

thanks guys was just curious about what time they coming out hopefully they will awesome (sure they will be) and a quad gpu card would be cool but i would like to see them clock them at the same speeds as the **70 so it was literately like having two of them in terms of performance.
