Yes the cards have officially been launched today, but only one will be available for purchase - the Radeon HD 2900 XT. The 2900 XTX has been delayed again and the lower spec HD 2600 and 2400 versions will be available mid-year.
ATI have gone for the price/bundle road with this one and I think they're waiting till they can spin out some thinner silicon before they release the beast
Yep agreed! I think XTX will receive the 65nm treatment as the 2900 XT is definitely a toasty little bugger too. The 2900 XT pricing is definitely the sweetener here, even though it's not the faster card. It certainly overclocks well though.
The 8800gts better get more fps, becuase i have just gone out and bought one, hopefully if and when i overclock it it will prove to be a better buy than a 2900xt.
