AMD France lists Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX performance data

The scariest thing for Intel is that they simply can not compete with AMD on price. Their manufacturing technique of single monolithic chips is way more costly than AMDs. AMD being able to use almost every chip it produces means a much higher yield and much lower costs. Were an all out price war to happen, Intel would not stand a chance.

"accidentally" lol all these leaks are intentional.
Bring on the price war please :D :D

You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off that old Lone Ranger

Sometimes when you pull a stunt like the 5GHZ OC trying to steal AMD's thunder, it will come back and bite you in the butt.

They can, they will, they just haven't yet as AMD just aren't significantly eroding the marketplaces where TR is demonstrably quicker/better-value.

Imagine for a moment that you're in the market for top-end Cinebench rendering - you're using a two-socket Xeon system, not a single socket TR.

All I want to see is increased AMD sales. I just want intel to rethink and go back to competing instead of sitting in their Ivory tower

haha Intel right now are doing exactly what AMD did, by hiring Jim Keller :D

That is what always makes me smile so god damned hard. They knew as soon as Ryzen launched how amazing it was and immediately went after the guy who designed it.

PMSL, it just never gets old :D
