Amount of PCIe 5.0. As it is that's the current big difference. Not much most people only need a B650 tbh

I also thought maybe they'd have found cheaper ways to manufacturer the PCIe slots that seem to be expensive to produce.

I think that's wishful thinking, they would then in turn be undercutting their own premium ranges of motherboards, these will be PCIe 4.0 flavoured.
