Just because the previous gens were soldered, doesn’t mean this one would. I don’t take anything for granted, that’s when you among other things, get disappointed.
And it’s not surprised, but rather happy that this gen is soldered as well after all... As they could’ve gone an Intel route, since it’s less prone to failure and it’s cheaper.
