I'll be looking into a few CPU benchmarks, PCMARK and 3DMARK Scores and a few gaming benchmarks to round it off. Trying to even include mantle, DX11 and OGL games to see if any gains more or less performance.

I'm trying to make everything as constant as possible, so all clean installs, exact same hardware and settings etc.

If the results are noteworthy it might become a mainpage article, if not a member review will do rightly. The news about Windows 7 support and new drivers etc has got me interested.

I started my look into Windows 7 vs 8.1 last night.

I have my windows 8 results finished and will do windows 7 results later in the week.
Currently I am now at my parents as 12-14th of July is a big family occasion for me, but I should have my results ready by the weekend.

Sadly I only have my 4670K to test, so I can't say anything about AMD performance gains, but it should be conclusive enough results as far as perf gain or loss goes.
