Cinebench and wPrime were run on dual-processor systems. I dont know if this was a server setup or Quad FX. I have no idea how tweaked these times were, or any RAM settings. obviously if they were ran on a sever setup, the RAM performance would suck compared to a bench setup

I strongly suspect the runs were NOT optimised.

Thanks to Coolaler and his forum!

Reference: SuperPi 1M: CH-5 RAM and an Opto150 (939) can pull 31.9xx secs at 2500 fairly highly optimised.

wPrime 32: a Q6600 at 4400 can edge out an Octo AMD @ 2GHz. That looks fairly close to me

Is it me or is that SuperPi score really quite poor? Am i missing something?

I just ran it on my 4600+ which i only wacked in last week, so havent tweaked it at all, not even RAM timings, ran the program straight out of the zip and was running IE in the background and i still beat it by over a second? Is that the possible result of the server setup?

And yet it does very well at the multithreaded bench? Is that also a possible result of the server setup?

32m on wPrime w/2 threads @ 1.9ghz = 41.906 seconds.

32m: 4 threads....................................23.015 seconds

crappy ECC RAM.

Not my rig, and there still fairly major BIOS bugs to iron out.
