AMD are planning to provide better overclocking support with Polaris

Did we get temps and performance of the cooler? Must have missed it.

If not then who knows, the cooler might be able to handle a decent OC. If the power delivery etc isnt going to be a limiting factor, then I see no reason as to why it would be better for crossfire? Better to have the bottom card dumping the heat outside instead of heating up the top card. Both cards dumping the heat outside is even better regardless of how little heat they may dump.

If we get a more efficient blower cooler then I get it though.

No we didn't but I have very good airflow in my system so I would assume 3rd party coolers would end up doing a little better and if not, they'll probably be clocked higher from factory, more quiet, and look nicer

Ah I See, I thought I missed an article or something. Personally I just dont like things dumping most of its heat into the case, as it ends up affecting other components. So for me its usually blower, AIO or full Water.

Really just depends. If the stock coolers are able to get high clocks with good temps then I won't mind. Really just depends.. Wish we would get a lightning card. Miss the 290x lightning, was a superb card

Too bad, doubt MSI is going to give us a decent 480 lightning. Would be awesome if we got 290x level cooling and power delivery for a 480 lightning :D
