it will be interesting to see how this performs vs a direct to PCI-e card. its not something i would personally use but if i had a laptop only, it would be good to leave on the desk and plug in when im at home. The enclosure looks decent and well made, but i have searched and cant find any info about cooling? says it supports the fury so it must have a 120 mount?

Fury is air cooled. The furyX has the AIO.

This is very interesting and I'm impressed with AMD's implementation.

I wonder if there will XFire XConnect enclosures in the future? That would make some awesome mods possible, allowing us to ditch the ATX enclosures of main pc's, and be able to move the XFire box from one room to another for gaming on the big screen, without having to move a whole ATX sized computer.

I'll be watching this space closely.

Very very interested in this. If I could I'd swap out my whole PC and get an ultrabook and get this for when I'm home. Beats having two different systems. Will probably wait until we get something faster than Thunderbolt 3 so latency is less of an issue.

I could see it be a poorly built plastic box covered in soft-touch material being way more expensive than it should have... just because of those three boomslangs

That's Razer in a nutshell

For the life of me i don't really understand why Razer products are so popular there are poorly made they cut too many corners when making products.

Actually the ultrabook is very reasonably priced for what it is, especially compared to the competition. Its worth reading a review or two.

Its weird typing razer and 'reasonably priced' not gonna lie.

It will not be here dude might be where you are.

I don't think I've ever seen a review touching on Razer's tendency to produce items that break after a relatively short time (compared to the competition). On the contrary, I've heard/read phrases like "excellent build quality" in Razer reviews. I've had a full set of Razer periphirals... let's just say I'm more well-informed now :P

My razor deathadder has been going for about 5 years now. Also cheaper than most other mice. Mind you it's the only razor thing I own.

For some reason I'm averse to the idea of an external GPU. Not sure why though because as long as it functions well its superior in almost every way.

I was refering to the rest of the world. Obviously I don't talk about Australia all the time. That said you're closer to Singapore then the rest of us so it might be reasonably priced still.

Razer is junk IMO

There is nothing that Razer could come out with would make me want it buy there junky products even there over priced notebooks
