Yes, you can. For example, with the A10, you can have a 7770 in xFire, but with that sort of rig you will need proper RAM to help the integrated GPU which uses the system's RAM. I am thinking of building my secondary rig around such a platform.
Actually, it is a lot more important to have fast and low latency RAM, rather than a lot of it. Also, don't expect wonders from such a setup, even when crossfired, it will only be a mid-range rig.

Which is why l am moving onto a i3 3220 + GTX 560 ti mitx build, have to say the A10 5800K on it's own does a fantastic job, however l am quite keen to play WoT with my 40" TV.
Don't get me wrong, l am a massive fan of AMD, however l had a spare mitx 1155 lying about so decided to build a new media center with a BitFenix Prodigy and the bits from the AMD system, luckily l have found a new home for the 6670 and the mobo + cpu + hsf going to another good home ( upgrade from a Q6600 system ).
