hello people
have very recently just bought a brand new AMD Sapphire 6770 1GB graphics card booted up and all was fine
but when i started to play games such as minecraft or skyrim or any other game for that matter the screen would freeze and show
a very grainy picture with small black squares covering the screen i could then hear the fan stop and start as if the card had been rebooted
the screen would flash black then return to the game but the game would have crashed or stopped working i would then have to end the process via
task manager which could take a minute or two then return o the desktop a little bubble would pop up in the bottom right hand corner of the screen saying
AMD driver has stopped responding and has been rebooted.
After reading in several forums that were unclear i just left it until i stumbled across a forum that said it could be the motherboard after hearing this i decided it
was time to upgrade any way so i bought a Asus Sabertooth 990FX motherboard. Although this has reduced this significantly i was wondering if anybody knows a
permanent fix to this problem
.i have updated to the latest drivers and tried older ones
.i have tried it in all available PCI E X16 slots
.i am using Windows 7 X64 bit
.i am not a simpleton so feel free to give the replies back as techy or as nooby as you like
i am guessing there is a simple fix but i have over looked it but hope to have it fixed soon
thanks guys
