AMD 65nm rumours (no evidence to support)

AMD have been working on 65nm tech nodes since June, and are expecting to introduce them with 1207pin sockets. As well as the lower voltages and temperatures that come with smaller nodes...AMD are planning a new stock cooling method.......

small TECS built into the chip, under the heatspreader.

Like I said, I cant prove it, but as soon as I can, i`ll post. Seems pretty ludicrous, and potentially unsafe but...... it could happen?

they have been working on 65nm a lot further back than June, I dont know about the rest of it, but for sure 65nm has been in dev for a while...

The 65nm aint new, true- it was the logical next step, I meant more about the TEC bit

I aint heard of inbulit tecs..

I have heard of water channels being cut into silicon though..

good few years away that technology though
