Alleged Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 memory specifications leak - 77% Bandwidth boost!

That's an enormous amount of bandwidth. Does AI workloads benefit from memory capacity and bandwidth? I can't see any practical gaming situation needing it.

All workloads benefit. The more information you can transfer to process speeds up everything. Some benefit more than others but as we keep adding new non native ways to process and upscale images it requires more memory to be able to store and calculate. Also keep in mind as you increase processing speed you need to be able to feed it. So they go hand in hand.

AI in particular is sensitive to memory bandwidth. Fundamentally it requires datasets to be able to use to do whatever it's designed for. The more datasets it can look at helps it guess.

That makes more sense then.
