Really dont like the look of this one at all. The 540 was great but this outer design looks like something that Thermaltake would have gone for once they were done ripping off Caselabs.

WTF is that?

I like it. Those blades infer coolness:)Beats a flat-square & boring shape I suppose. Saying that my next case is a Phanteks Evolv atx TG, yummy. Still I wouldn't kick the 740 out of bed.

I live in an age where simplicity defines elegance and appeal. Those plastic trenches as I will call them are not attractive to me.

Furthermore, a full panel clear acrylic view = nice. Slapping a large handle on it= distracting and OTT. They should have used thumbscrews like the 540 and keep the entire panel clean.

I must be the epitome of elegance then...lol

I don't know if I love it or hate it :S

I'm usually a huge fan of slatted designs because I used to use servers and workstations in the 90s when it was popular but I can't decide whether I like this design or hate it.

Maybe when it's all lit up I will be able to decide.

TBH I think this looks cheap and nasty..........don't know what's going on at Corsair but they seem to be going backwards too much

As a Air 540 owner..... nope!

But to be honest from looking at the PSU side it looks like they have incorporated some pump/res mounts about the PSU.... nice little feature but still wouldn't buy it.

I think its because every edge on this thing is rounded off, there's not a sharp edge anywhere on that front, which makes it look smoothed out that kinda kills the vibe.

And yes corsair's door mechanism is a cool idea, but the big handle in the window, that, really needs to change.

Corsair is starting to lose me with their designs.

I think there have gone too wacky why can't we get an update to the Obsidian line it's been like 2 years or more since there have been a brand new Obsidian case.

IMO the Obsidian line of cases were the best line of cases that Corsair did.

900D was there best door mechanism to date. They should stick with that one.

Today we are giving the Corsair Air 740 the OC3D Exceptional Aesthetics Award, providing not only a beautiful design but a very functional layout which makes it almost too easy to create an attractive system.

I.. I don't even...

I think this is the first time I have strongly disagreed with TTL on a case review. I love the exclusion of the bays, but visually its just horrid.

I agree with this.

I think Corsair have gone downhill with this case in terms of design, I don't even like the look out it at all.
