Alan Wake 2's PC system requirements have landed, and it is extremely GPU-heavy

Also a bit of interesting info, The game won't work well if at all with GPU's that don't have mesh shader functionality i.e 1000 series Nvidia GPU's and 5000 series AMD GPU's.

This was from an actual dev at Remedy -

Don't care how good the game looks. Relying and asking gamers to use DLSS/Upscaling tech to achieve basic performance levels is just sad. Not saying it's intentional, however just leaves optimization efficiency up to Nvidia instead of working on it themselves.

This.

Upscaling can be used as a bonus, or a way for consoles to achieve 60 fps instead of the usual 30. But it should never be used on PC as a way to achieve basic performance.

Are we all on the same page that 60 fps at 1440p on High settings is the mid-range sweet spot? Because that's kinda how I feel. So if a game can't achieve that on a mid-range PC in 2023, 9/10 times something is wrong with the way that the game is optimized.
