If a few folks would like to offer to do a review of these Honeycomb Airflow Straighteners I can send a few out. They attach directly to any fan.

That`s so seriously simple - it`s brilliant!

If some1 wouldn`t mind stepping up to the plate to check these out, I`d find it pretty interesting.

A review has already been requested officially from OC3D and we're just sorting it out now.

Not really sure why this is posted in the open forum :eh:

Oh sorry, I did not mean to skirt the admins. I don't mind personal reviews as well.

It is a simple application, but it was only after many days of reading about fluid dynamics and hand making one from drinking straws that it was brought to reality. Here is a link with alot of info: http://navier.stanford.edu/bradshaw/tunnel/honeycomb.html

As well as attaching directly to a fan, these parts can also direct the airflow of fanless incoming air. Here is a visual example of how it is functioning in my PSU with the 120mm input fan removed.

A shot of uncontrolled air taking the path of least resistance.

You can see many dead spots.

And now with a honeycomb flow straightener you can see the flow being directed over spots where the PSU components would be:

I appreciate your interest in knowing for yourself the value. :)
