Air units in crysis ?

Does anybody know about air units in crysis?

lets start with singleplayer.. in the actual game what kind of air units are there that you can drive and control?

more importantly (i've been wondering about this for a while) are there air units such as helicopters in crysis multiplayer? i think it would be a rly big improvement if online had air vehicles..

for single player there are air units for sure. You can fly helicopters and such, but for multiplayer I dont think there are air units but im not sure.

Pretty darn cool, in the demo use the Editor to add them to the demo level.

Allows you to have a muck about with the level.. and test some cool features.

I cannot understand why they wouldn't have the choppers in Multiplayer.. Pretty sure in the final game there will be some.

From what I hear the crytek game engine is not capable or using helicopters in the multiplayer.

with sandbox editting you should be able to unlock that stuff yea..

if you look around youtube theres clips with rapid-fire nuke launchers (surprised the game doesnt crash..) and tornadoes (the tornadoes are rly well done).

but do you know if heli's are the only flying vehicle that can be added in single?

and is flying units in multi all speculation at this point? i heard the crytek engine would have trouble supporting that kinda stuff in multi because of the mass physics involved.. idk why they cant cut down on some of the physics but.. not my choice.

if you watch the mp demo intro there are air units in multiplayer DEFFINATELY

it mentions them as a usable unit from a factory just not in the beta map unfortunately

Knew it, why in gods name would they take out a vehicle from MP? Makes no sense. Espcailly in this day and age of gaming. :eh:

erm if u get the mp beta (i thought it was open now) you can view it on entering the game, i will attempt to capture it with fraps or something or better yet find the file somewhere tonight and post it up

actually if you go on the crysis sites i'm sure one of them has the mp training video thingy, its on that.. i'll hunt it out gimme an hour or so (at work)

its called Sandbox editor.. i haevnt used it yet tho.
