Air CPU Cooler Help!!

Ok.. so I only have my stock intel Cooler on ATM.. on a i5 3470 3.2GHz

Now my mind is between 3 coolers..


1. Artic A30

3. Zalman (also Love the compact design)

Im really stuck between the Zalman and Coolermaster.. Not a big fan of the upright Coolers.. looks off to me..

I personally wouldn't buy any.

I know you may not be a fan of upright coolers, but they perform a lot better.

You'd be better off with a CM Hyper 212+ or one in that range.

Your cpu shouldnt get hot where you cant really overclock it so a basic cooler will be ok, but nothing wrong with trying to get it as cool AND quiet as you can.


It would also be worth you looking at our overclocking guide at the undervolting part too

My Thinking as well.. I don't clock the day light out of my PC.. All I want is a better cooler than the stock intel cooler..

I have a Zalman CNPS10X cooler @ home.. but wit out the LGA 1155 bracket.. anybody have an Idea where I can find The LGA 1155 bracket for Zalman?

Best bet would be emailing Zalman. They should hopefully send you one out

1155 and 1156 are the same so see if it supports that.
