Yup SLI 680s will absolutely demolish Titan. Even 670 SLI and the 690 beat it by 25+%

I have a quick question do you need to change ie want higher frame rates or just want to change to a titan because you can?

Personally if it is just because you can I wouldn't bother, I would wait and see what the next generation of cards brings and see what the performance is like.

If it is for higher frame rates then I would consider another 680. Sli 680s will out perform a titan and the extra card would be less than half the price of a titan so you would save alot of money.

Yes both are basically the same card ie reference design. They will work just fine. The only real difference between the two will be warranty and customer support from the companies.

I tried a few places and I cannot find a reference 680 from Asus. It may be hard to find reference cards from some manufacturers especially with ones that make their own non reference versions.

I know I should go for the Zotac one But I have a Msi Motherboard and I like things to match also I already have Assassins creed 3, Im buying it through my dads business so I get a alot cheaper too hehe. Thats why I was going to buy the Titan because I can get it alot cheaper than other people but looks like everyone is saying just get another 680 so thats what Im doing, Originally I did have two Asus Gtx680's But it was bottlenecking my AMD cpu (Amd Phenom X6 1090T) So I sold one of them on ebay now I have a 3770K I shouldn't have that problem I hope.

Another story too about year ago I was going to buy the 690 But I had to wait at least 6 weeks to get my hands on one, I was researching and I found out that 2 GTX680's are basically the same as 1 690 So yeah. By the way I dont know the results compared to a Titan maybe I should do that aha.

2x gtx680 > 690. a 690 is two downclocked 680s. also a 690 is still better than a Titan :)
ATM i think that the whole dual GPU stuff is quite pointless, by the time you need the power of two GPUs for games the next generation will be released. looks sick though.

Well tbh I was surprised that people were saying just get another 680, But the Titan just looks sick that's all and yeah I guess the performance is good but mostly the look first haha. I'm just hoping when I get my 680 that it will work well with my setup I don't want any bottlenecking going on.

yh the titan does look good but i think personally think 2 cards looks soooo much better than 1. and also can i ask why you've got 10 sp fans when you've only got a h100 for cooling?
