Advice on temps please

Hi all, i built my new rig in the new year (the new rig details should be displayed below i think). i ran it for a week to let the thermal paste under the cooler set in, and then i started overclocking. ive reached 4.04 ghz and i'm quite happy to stay at that but i'd like some second opinions about my core temps please. idle temp for the motherboard is 22 degrees C, and idle temps for my overclocked i5 760 is 33 degrees C. cpu temps when converting a video file using all 4 cores is 48 degrees C, and 30 minutes of prime95 takes it to 61/62 degrees C. These temps are with my titan fenrir cooler set on standard speed, i could set it to performance speed to bring the temps down but i'd rather not because it gets noisy then. Is this overclock safe for 24/7 use?

Any comments would be appreciated, thankyou all

I would say so, yes.

Prime95 stresses your CPU more than normal and your video converting temps are more indicitave of 24/7 usage.

61/62c is acceptable for stress testing.

UPDATE.......... as i am typing this i have prime 95 running in the background totally stable. still 4.04 ghz but now the cpu is only running on 1.25 volts, imc 1.3 volts, and ram at 1.5 volts. Maximum temp is 49 degrees C

Final update........ cpu is now 1.23125 volts, imc is 1.2 volts, ram is 1.5 volts. any lower volts and windows7 will boot but prime 95 fails. max cpu temps with prime95 running is now 47 degrees C............ damn, prime 95 just failed after 10 mins. looks like 1.25 volts is minimum for the cpu

This is all good dude, Congrats on your stable and cool overclock
