Earlier this week an expired licensing agreement forced ALL of Activision's titles based in the Marvel Universe. This includes the recently released Deadpool which was only released in June 2013.
The titles affected are Deadpool, X-Men: The Official Game, X-Men: Destiny, X-Men: Origins Wolverine, Spider-Man Edge of Time, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, Spider-Man Friend or Foe, and Spider-Man Web of Shadows. All these games have been removed from Xbox Live, Steam and PlayStation Network.
While the sale of these games for digital download are now prohibited until the licencing agreement is renewed, physical copies are still available.
Those who already own a digital copy of the game should not worry as they should be able to download and install their copy of the game.
I find it especially odd that a game only 6 months old like Deadpool has been Delisted from digital retailers for this reason.
Luckily many of those interested in the PC release of Deadpool purchased the game at a reduced rate in the now ending Steam Christmas sale.
