Acer Ferrari 3200 HD advice.

( Forgive me for being a total NOOB on all things laptop related )

I have a Acer Ferrari 3200 with a standard 2.5" 80Gig HD from my Brother.

I am looking to fill it up with Ram 2GB max, and also looking to upgrade to a bigger hard drive.

The problem is....The original hard drive is listed as a ATA-6 hard drive, Does the new hard drive need to be 2.5" ATA-6 HD, or will any standard 2.5" ATA 100 hard drive do?

What would be the biggest hard drive I could use on this laptop??

Thanks in advance

From reading online forums, I think the motherboard/controller restrict the hard drive to 137Gig max, which is ok I guess.

But still need advice on the ATA-6 issue, And also if you have any links to a cheap place where I can get the hard drive of course :)

I would guess any laptop sized drive rated at ata100 would do the job, someone should know better though
