Acer and Starbreeze have begun shipping StarVR

Wait, is this the same Starbreeze that made Escape From Butcher Bay?

Either way this headset sounds phenomenal! I haven't been sold on VR at all, to the point I've basically ignored it as a fad for the last few years. Just recently I've considered it's uses for racing/flight sim set-ups and kind of accepted it's here to stay this time.

Being that both race and flight sim set-ups can be ludicrously expensive, especially if you want the haptic feedback systems to give a worthwhile experience when paired with VR then this headset would seem like the perfect combination.

Truth be told if I had the cash that would be my next project, high system requirements be damned.

so this is effectively 4k (rendering size)? thought i read that 90fps is the ideal for VR. gonna need some serious rig to run one of these
