Accelero S2 & the XFX 7600GT - fixings.

I`m looking to purchase the Accelero S2 to fit it to the XFX, but my dilema is this.

I`ve looked at some reviews and seen some pages where the reviewers have actually fitted them to 7600 cards.

Problem I see is, when they show their 7600 stripped down, it has the 4 hsf holes about the gpu.

I look at the back of the XFX I have here and there are only 2 holes, that span the gpu horizontally(??). If u like they are spaced as if u made a triangle with the imaginary 4 holes.- bleh.

This is one of the reasons I couldn`t fit a HR-03 to it, am I to believe that this 2 hole fixing is a rarity or something ?

I`ve just found out why the pc with this in it was crapping out during games - the fan is sticking. >.< idling from 80 to god knows what during load.

I`ve done a clean job on it, but in my experience that`s always a temporary measure.

It has 4 holes with various fittings for lots of GPU's so would say you would be ok.

Take a butcer at the review pics mate

Sorry Kemp, I totally missed that whilst looking out for it ?!?!

hmmm, it has 2 diagonally placed holes, but they don`t look to be far enough apart.

Saying that, the price of it I may just get one and add it to stock if it don`t work out.

That`s an excellent example actually, roughly where the water-mark of that image is - the 2 horizontal black circular pads off the OC3D logo is where I`m picturing the wholes in the card.

Ye it has multiple holes for fixing - even if it aint listed (which it may be), I'd be willing to bet it would fit.
