Absolutely poor bass/sound quality - X-FI/Medusa 5.1s

I am aware that this is a problem for many users but I did have it sorted out...before I lost my settings thanks to format. It distorts extremely easily when I get the bass even noticeable...in rock songs, not to mention hardcore..:(

I have followed the guide by turning off CMSS3D and to get the bass not distorting I have to redirect it to about 180hz (atm) which is nowhere near bassy enough

Plus the fact my vibration doesn't work...I would have RMA'D the buggers by now but ive bent a pin on the connection (headset to amp box). Although this did not affect performance like this before.

Anyone care to share their settings if they have the same setup? Its an X FI Xtreme music :)

Setting the speaker size to small sorted my bass problem out, but my problem was, that i wasnt getting any bass. Ive got the bass redirection on 60HZ with subwoofer gain off.

Since your question isn't really clear, I'll just post this..

My Settings for XtremeMusic's Drivers:

Mode: Audio Creation Mode

Speakers: 2.0/2.1, SVM Off

EAX Effects: Disabled

X-Fi Crystalizer: Disabled

CMSS3D: Disalbed

This is all in Audio Console. This should work great. No crappy modifications to sound. Disable all EQ's in software, drivers, etc. If you need an EQ to get decent sound your setup sucks. :p
