I thought, like Nintendo1, that your picture was of somewhere near Staveley. Am from Lancaster and go into the Lakes walking and climbing fairly frequently, got to get some exercise when your other hobby just involves sitting down in front of a PC . Lol!

Nice thread, here is my view -

Montcuq (my village) - when pronounced with local dialect sounds like "My Ass"
We also won a worldwide competition here to get monopoly to run a special edition for our village.

Aweome pics. Man England has some of the coolest scenery. Getting out there at least just once is on my bucket list. I feel like I should've been born in England. LOL
