A Unknown Brand?

On one of my rigs i had am3 CPU and I saw on newegg the amd/intel specific ram modules by OCZ and wanted further info. So did it old fashion and went web surfing! I am not sure how I stumbled across them but I came across a UK company called Cruise. I heard of them not once before this but they also have a line of specific modules... But as I looked further I came across something even crazier... GPU specific ram! Which i thought was pretty cool because that just makes everything so much easier... anyways besides the baffling here is the link and let me know what you think!

its just a way to get ppl to but a specific model of there ram, many other companies have done it b4 but u dont see it about much these days as ppl are wise 2 it

Hmm I need to get further info before we totally smash them... Even though I am on the consumers side rather than the manufacturers

They look cheap and cheesy to me...especially the typhoon cooler, it looks like a butterfly tramp stamp that you'd see at the small of the back on some pole dancer Lol

and the RAM heat sinks not being above the Ram itself being angled downward toward the Mobo...definitely not efficient for heat dissipation.

Oh come on guys looks have nothing to do with performance... I think it's safe to not say anything about them until learning more and maybe even testing the ram! I'll ask around and try to get my hands on some, then you can smash on it.

You know this company just looks like a big rebranding scheme. Its not hard to do, and companies do it all the time. Use the same factory that makes the hardware, just add different branding. Its also not hard to design coolers and such.

You never know about the quality of something new until you try it. Gotta take a risk everyonce in awhile, and all companies have to start somewhere. But I would let someone else take the risk personally lol

Aha! the positivity i was hoping for lol i think i am willing to test such theory... first i would like to ask them to open up and let me have a reviewing sample maybe this can get them a spark and me a module o.o!

You know, if they where good, people would be talking about them by now. Similar to Bitfenix and other small companies that have been successful. They seem to have many products out and yet nobody has heard of them. Not a good sign. I understand why you wan't to be optimistic, but I hope you understand why some of us are not.
