A stupid question?

This might be a stupid question but I'm building an enthusiast grade workstation for me for my new business and I am going to OC it so here is the question: 4x4Gb 2133 Dominator Platinums, buy or no buy?

buy. a bit overkill, but if it's a workstation on which you are going to spend a couple thousands on anyways, go for it. even though maybe 4x8GB 2133MHz would be better for a workstation. who knows when you are going to need it.

They are quite expensive. Have you considered a cheaper set with the same specs?

for the cost, they have the flash and performance, without all the glitz RAM can
be less expensive.

dependant on what appz to be run, if they are even necessary..

I would re-assess your economic business model if you're even considering dominator platinums, which command a price premium simply for aesthetics.
