Well a package arrived on my doorstep a few days ago. Had to hold off with setting up due to moving house but now she's all setup and running.

Nice one boardy. I'll be importing the E6600 from US soon (Got my sources).

Can anyone tell me what mobo to get which has good overclocking options aswell? Is Bad axe anygood? Heard quite a lot about it.

I'm having a few issues getting SLI to work with this board though, but I think this could be because Thicky may have taken my only fully working SLI bridge with him and Yonah.

I hate this board!!!

I think we've killed it already without even putting the LN2 tube near it, all we had to say was LN2 time within earshot of it, and the thing wont post anymore at all.

Not entirely sure what's wrong but this could be an RMA jobby which is a bugger as we don't have LN2 for THAT long.

@ 8pm last night the bad axe came back to life and what i saw was amazing

I have to agree I'd seen results from ATI cards but none from nVidia cards in SLI and it shocked me how big the scores were with stock, I say again STOCK clocks and AIR coolers on the cards!!

I put the box back together when I got home and got no post so I think it's gone again but we shall see what happens. I'm not a fan of the BIOS at all. There are no options to do booger all in there and it's so clunky. Thicky and I spent a good 30min trying to find the frequency and voltage control, only to find, the BIOS simply doesn't have them!!!

Results to come for '01 and '05. We also have a 15.2s 1m superpi, but I forgot to get a screenie of it, so next time we shall do that

Edit : For those wanting to get this board to use with I-RAM, forget it, it just will not boot correnctly. Installs perfectly and bloody fast, but after install it refuses to boot.

Afaik there are some mods for the bad-axe to give you vcore control in bios as well as some other memory settings... Sure tehres a thread on it over at XS

Glad and good to see the E6700 ES is doing her stuff. the low clocks are to to the bord, seams many are having this issue with the latter batch of Intel Bad Axe REV 304.

I'll speak with my mobo contact Bordy and catch up with you and let ya know what mobos are in and which we should get for the chip.

When you gonna post all the pics up? Also how much Ln2 is left?
