from 22st 7lbs to 13st 8lbs in under 9 months

thanks guys

it's "easy"..... lean meats, fish, fresh veg and fuit, NO breadstuff, NO processed foods, ZERO fat foods.......... AND NO SNACKING.

nothing fried - everything is boiled, steamed or microwaved.

NO huge meals.... instead of having three meals a day.. i have 5 smaller meals that add up to about 1200-1500kcals.

i weight-train 4 times a week, and do HIIT exercises twice a week.

i also drink 4ltrs of water a day.

things to stay away from:

anything made with starches (anything that thickens when cooked)
any breads (brown or white)
fried foods (even shallow fried is bad for your diet)
full cream milk (stick to semi or fully skimmed)
greek yoghurt is bad (use low fat natural 'unflavoured' yoghurt instead, add stuff to it yourself)
eat brown rice, instead of white
never buy frozen meats - buy fresh lean meat instead (as it will not be injected with preservatives a chemicals, as much, like the frozen kind)

i have not eaten bread or crisps for over 10 months, and i do not miss them

NOTE:
supermarkets do not care about your health - they only care about making money.
if an item is produced to last longer on the shelves and in the freezer, it must had been 'messed with' too much!

EG: when i was a young lad, a loaf of sliced bread would only last 3-4 days before going mouldy... now they last 10 days or more! ask yourself why.

ask yourself why food manufacturers employ as many chemists as the do chefs!

Looking great Dug! I'm currently on a bulking diet at the moment trying to put on a bit of muscle before summer and then cutting a bit currently 5"10 and nearly 80kg. Always great motivation to see real people achieving these goals rather than a stupid advert supposedly offering muscle mass in a month.

On that note, i best be off to the gym. Cheers for keeping us posted!

Nice work! All too often you see people stumble and fail.

I've recently had a breakup and taken the negative vibes to positives and managed to lose weight down to 11st (from 12 - not much but i wanted to shift a bit of body fat) and now doing a bit of training daily so I can get back in shape to get my black belt in tkd. Plus it really does make you feel good about yourself!

Can easily do elevated pressups now and have some dumbells in the post. I no longer snack, turn down deserts...but still very partial to ale :downit:

You are one strong minded fella!! I have given up crisps, but not sure I could give up bread as well. I live with a chocoholic, so the cupboards are always full of snacks and other sugary crap, so that when I don't feel great - they are too easily at hand. If I was just preparing meals for myself, it'd be a lot easier...

Keep it up mate, you have probably just added a minimum of 10 years onto your life.
