16ms? That's a little too high for me. If it was 7 or 8, I can see myself buying several of these for my Nvidia Surround rig. Still, step in the right direction for sure!

Wonder how much they will be going for. A friend of mine had a pretty good Sony projector but gaming on it was just horrible.

On the other hand, just look how happy they are, man I want one. And apparently you'll win with it aswell. :)

Back in the day I used to play console games on a projector. The immersion is incredible and I still want to get a projector for movies in the lounge but for serious game play it takes something else. The good things about this projector are firstly it's short throw (45cm gives you 100") so that you don't have to have the projector on the other side of the room to the rest of your kit. It's bulb is LED not halogen so the bulb has 10x the lifespan and is far more energy efficient which also makes it quiet. It also has a half decent integrated 2.1 speaker set.

There are major drawbacks though, sadly all image related. It's rated at only 700 lumens which means you'll have to play it in the dark if you want to see anything. The contrast ratio and black levels are pretty poor for the £1500 RIP price tag making shadows pretty flat and then there's the big elephant in the room - HD ready resolution of 1280x800 which really only makes it usable for console or budget gamers who, let's be honest, are unlikely to splash out over £1000 on a projector when they only spent £400 on the gaming machine.
