A-Data announces largest SSD on market

It could be that the Toshiba version isn't as close to being released as the A-Data. Actual mass-production scheduling.

Pricing may well be scary, just as I take notice the likes of Toshiba 500g traditional drives selling for £30-40.

Finally a SSD drive that is big enough for my basic OS drive and no price. Why? because only Sultans and the stupid will be able to afford them.

SSD's will get there size wise, just think back to how long it took normal hard drives to grow! i remember the 540mb hard drives that used the same amount of power as a large village.

Just a refresher.

Bet that costs loads a fortune!! like other say, hardly anyone will be able to afford it at the moment, but in a few years...

SSD is just a rip off at the moment. The technology isn't even new. I will not be buying one until a 500GB SSD is 40quid.
