A Campaign Level Select is coming to Halo Infinite - It's "Challenging" to Implement

Apparently everything they do is challenging and whenever people ask about any basic previously implemented features they say it's hard to do but we're working on it

Nobody asked for excuses people just want the actual Halo experience. It's tiring to hear excuse after excuse.

Played this through Gamepass, Got it for £1, Honestly not impressed, It's very generic, Pretty graphics but the gameplay is kind of boring.

Sidenote: Quotes and editing are not functioning. I clicked the Quote button, but I'm given a plain textbox. Seems to only be the case in Firefox. Edge works fine.

Just out of curiosity: was this your first Halo game? I've played Halo Reach and the first installment through Game Pass (my first hands-on experience with any Halo game) and I couldn't understand how newer players are supposed to be amazed by these games. I get that Halo redefined shooters on consoles, but the bush bongo music, VERY slow gameplay (you can't sprint without a temporary skill wtf?) and sometimes confusingly open maps don't fit imho.
And to top it all off, Halo turns into a horror game in the end :D

I thought the same. Average graphics albeit nice FPS, but very generic.

What I do like is the realistic magazine clips though. Unlike others with the endless run n gun concept. Then again, I was a massive fan of the original Halo. It pushed the limits at the time

And maybe I missed out on a few in the franchise, but that macho voice of masterchief made me cringe alot.

"Then there is still hope" /facepalm.

Yep Firefox doesn't seem to like the sites Quote button for whatever reason.

I've played 1, 2, 3 and 4, Not played ODST, Reach or 5 outside of a quick 5 minute play at a friends, Just couldn't get into Infinite though.

If Infinite released maybe 10 years ago it would've been amazing for the time but for me right now it's just another generic shooter.

= my thoughts on pretty much every Halo game.

It was big back then because it was the first "serious" FPS for a console but that didn't mean much when the PC had tons of them.

343 ruined Halo. When Bungie was in charge they released amazing games.

343 had a tall task but they didn't live up to it. If this was a game based on a different/made up universe with no benefit of the Halo brand it would be a meh shooter.

Only thing making them money is the name. Nothing else is special.

Sadly that is the issue I see with every disappointing franchise right now.

Battlefield,
Call of Duty
Halo
Fifa
Farcry
I would like to say Assassins creed but I think Valhalla was excellent

Interesting how my list shows almost all from either Ubi or EA...
