98lite

Ive been running my DOS/98SE box for a while now but it still seems like it can be alot faster without overclocking any of my old hardware (except my video card). So i ran into 98lite. Anybody know if there are any issues i might run into with it? They say you can take out IE4 which i know has alot of bugs but will it really speed things up? If so, yall should take a look into it as well.:worship:

Ah nah its cool, i dont get online with it. Actualy, it has no networking capabilities at all (Integrated LAN but not installed). Im just trying to integrate drivers, CD-Key, ect and make it faster. You have any experience with 98lite Kemp?

EDIT:

On second glance, i see some graphical issues? That wont really effect my gaming any will it? I mean, these games where made for DOS/98/and 95.

Well Win98 was getting there as far as gaming was concerned but you should be ok as long as the games say they work fine with Win98.

I used to have 98NT but never really did Lite installs of it

talking of old OS's. I had to install msdos 6 the other day. Would you believe that a receptionist of a school has all the kids data on it. She doesnt want to upgrade either!! doh!

All the games im using on it are all DOS-Win ME compatible. I have specificaly all 98 SE drivers for everything, and im also using the unofficial SP2.1a. Everything seems to be running fine, i just was wondering if the 98lite would let me integrate drivers like you can for Vista and XP.
